Next Wave is a 10-month program with 2 streams: an artist development stream and a film & image production stream. Over the 10 months, 10 emerging artists and 10 emerging photographers/filmmakers will receive mentorship and training, collaborating on music releases, live sets, video clips, live shoots and portraits. The program will culminate in a performance opportunity and showcase of the creative works. There will also be 10 industry workshops, free and open to the public.
Artist Development Stream Criteria:
Ages 16+
Bands or solo/duo acts
Have a live set of original material
Have at least one song recording or demo and a song that you want to record/release
Film & Image Production Stream Criteria:
Ages 16+
Strong interest in still and moving image focusing on photography, directing and creative direction
Dates:
One weekend day per month 10am-6pm (times TBC) starting February 2026
